LOCKDOWN
On that day we left our office and rest is BEFORE COVID AFTER COVID times started.
Corona Virus first time in the history of mankind created so many disorders in Education, Lifestyle, working culture and people's perspective on Life.
Let us see what happened and how it is going till date from the day of LOCKDOWN.
Its March 22nd 2020 Sunday, Indian Prime Minister Mr.Modi ordered nation wide LOCKDOWN addressing people to stay in Home for 8 days as Corona Virus is highly Contagious and Spreading at uncontrollable speed. This is the first time LOCKDOWN word came up and hearing everywhere. People are in panic stage every work halted at its still from small,low scale Business to MNC'S. There is an over all vibe that went form Panic stage to Fear stage and it didn't take much time to become more worse.
Radical decisions made within a week of time seeing the country's condition to stop increase in Cases.
Things slowly started feasible to purchase basic essentials like Groceries, Vegetables and Medical Requirements for people. One thing at that time happened is Mainly cases identified and rapidly increased in Cities and Urban places than in Rural and Village areas. This is the very beginning and initial 2nd Month situation. At this Instance Jama Masjid incident blamed few specific people who gathered there, as they are the spreaders of Virus so much chaos and Religious riots happened in TV Debates and Live Programs. Later people regretted for Blaming without a clue. I think nobody have left with other choice to believe in. There's a linear growth in increase of cases as things are getting out of hand by 4th Month from first case identified. All States Chief Ministers got Instructions from Central to take necessary measures to stop the rapid increase in cases. In the mean while Middle class People and Below Middle class People started to feel the Financial Pressure and Career related thoughts poking in Mind. Parallelly Migrant workers started realizing these things will not come to an end in nearby days and started to go back to their Hometowns. This part will address later cos this is the most emotional, Heart wrenching thing anyone can Imagine.
Lets keep this aside as things shaping on day to day basis. We will see drastic situations which resonated with lockdown.
Things we going to see here are purely my perception and I believe 99% of my view is Real and Undebatable due to my understanding being closer to ground reality.
To start with Lockdown times showed the Importance of Medical system and Infrastructure for any country to tackle with an emergency situation. Though leading countries in the world failed to serve upto the mark.
Lockdown showed actual condition of the country. Here I will primarily talk about India because I watched and felt the situation very close being here.
Yeah, To start lets see Political and Medical systems, we need to agree nobody know anything about Condition and situation happening in Lockdown times, Habitually our Political Leaders lag in responding to People Problems. I am Very sure Virus being so contagious it might affect them if surrounding people is not protected and Taken care that triggered or Made them to be cautious on situation and guiding people to be safe. If you observe Rich People are the one who are primarily safe in terms of Financial, Medical and Residential. So many people lost jobs due to Economical imbalance that hitted sharply within no time. I want to appreciate the people to took care for the people working for them. Basically we keep hearing Rich people and Poor people are the happiest Middle class are the one who are sufferers but I seen Lockdown shattering the Poor Families and For some extent Middle class families. Lot of funds release as per the news channels reports but couldn't see a penny distributed to People by our so called leaders. There is a situation where people are fighting between Life or death parallelly rulers are looting the country and People more than the normal times. I truly felt so called community of Political leaders will never think about People's condition inherently every one is selfish enough to only think about themselves. But there is one thing called Being honest to the job you're doing and Specially Indian Political leaders(Few Exceptions 0.5%) ranked top in being Reckless in this aspect.
I don't understand why Govt or Leaders are Unwilling to tell that they don't know about Virus and Lockdown condition,on the other side directing people with their foolish decisions.
No Medical Emergency clarity either for Medical staff or For people, Situation came to a stage where everyone came up with their own remedies for Virus attack.
Some will say Basic Fever, Headache pills are enough some will say advanced treatment is required and some will say Home isolation with Proper diet is very good enough. Hospitals are looting, People are thinking twice if we go to corporate hospitals what would be the situation, Going in with COVID and Discharging without Heart-attack after seeing the bill is not a surprise. These are moments which are seeing everywhere, I personally think Medical Staff deserves more Incentives in terms of Financially or Better lifestyle because not they are frontline soldiers but the job that demanded them to perform their duties in the tough times too. I Don't believe Frontline warriors etc.. Ultimately when situation comes no one can defeat it. Central and state Govts appreciated and felicitated Doctors and crew with flowering and verbal appreciation but they deserve more than what is offered.
Now let see how Education system changed its path in the process of Achieving Academic targets rather than Reforming to more reliable system. No difference between Hospitals and Educational Institutions for looting where people are left with no choice. I laughed recalling how people studied hard for getting passed and Distinctions where now Students are getting passed as time passes. Don't you think how fool we look up to ourselves. Realization should start, real education is educating for knowledge and Existence not for grades and Ranks. Education system should be strong enough with its roots for educating students before coming into society. Still I am seeing lot of confused parents than students because of the poor Roots of our education system. Any wise society or Govt will reform themselves in a given opportunity. After reading upto here Thoughts are yours on our Medical, Political and Educational systems.
If I continue to write and share there's a lot about these systems because with the process of Existence and evolution it is perennial. so lets conclude with this existing chaotic social structure.
Life or Death : Till now we've seen few aspects with respect to LOCKDOWN but there is a category of people irrespective of the social evolution and lifestyle fighting for the survival living on daily/Monthly wage which can only accommodate with limited access of Living facilities. When Lockdown announced no one thought where would this situation and series of decisions lead until every migrant worker returned to their homes after understanding no hope is left to resume their work/Jobs.
While every one is busy trying to analyze their Financial condition and Career Opportunities the other side of the plane people are dying between survival and death. You know when no money is left to feed the family even living is more Painful than Dying. In the middle of those days - one day a thought striked in my mind, In any given situation there is best way of coming out of it or to make it ease,In this LOCKDOWN given situation I think "IT IS THE TIME WHERE HELPING/OFFERING/DONATING/CONTRIBUTING IS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW OUR HUMANITY".
Do You think LOCKDOWN Times could melt us in Making Progress ?
I personally believe anything once started will never stop, Either it will change its shape or it will change its direction same like Virus LOL. On a serious note Humans are evolved with the primary principle of getting adapted to the situation and circumstances, If times like everything should halt all of a sudden lets see ourselves, Observe carefully we didn't halted anything we changed the way of execution. Most of the sectors came to Virtual World to run their businesses and make people work unlike leaving them to sit idle in home. My personal observation many Organizations from NASA to Local bodies and MNCS everyone started reforming the process of execution. It is tough but it will Happen because advancement may get slower but it will not go reverse. History Proved and History repeats.
High pressure make things to melt but made humans to Forge for new circumstances. Perceptions Lifestyle and Thought Process got Impacted with everyone in smaller or larger way.
My main idea is served from the above content, to write my experience and Observations on Lockdown but Inherently herein I want to tell my understanding as well, If you see there's a lot happened with everyone but Time didn't stopped and world kept running with its own Rule. Only Top cadre of people either in Govt or Private Own business are managed to have good times because of the Spontaneity
in decisions and Long-term goals. No matter Lockdown or CORONA Virus doesn't impacted their Zeal or rigid hope they have for good time. Hope is the only good thing that can a Man/Woman set free.
Its up for 2022 New year but it is in our Hands to make it Happy or Not.
After certain time I may come up with LOCKDOWN BLOG - 2 Part depending on the drastic changes in situations and Experiences.
